More than 190 Sudanese medical students successfully completed their studies in Tanzania following their relocation from Sudan due to the ongoing armed conflict. The graduation marked a significant milestone — a testament to student resilience and to the solidarity of the international academic community.
Professor Mamoun Homeida expressed his deep gratitude to Tanzania and to the staff of Muhimbili National Hospital: "Muhimbili provided our students with invaluable practical training at a time when they needed it most. We are forever grateful."
Students received both academic instruction and hands-on clinical training at Muhimbili National Hospital, one of East Africa's leading tertiary care institutions. The graduating cohort is now ready to contribute to healthcare systems across Sudan, Rwanda, and beyond.
