Kigali City Mayor Samuel Dusengiyumva made an official courtesy visit to UMST University, meeting with senior university leadership to discuss infrastructure development and UMST's long-term contribution to Kigali's growth.
Discussions included plans for a state-of-the-art university hospital and purpose-built student hostels to be developed in the Busanza Sector. Mayor Dusengiyumva expressed strong support: "Projects like these are essential for Kigali's future — creating world-class healthcare infrastructure while training the professionals who will run it."
Professor Homeida reaffirmed UMST's commitment to Rwanda, noting that the university has been contributing to Kigali's development since 1996 and intends to continue expanding its presence for decades to come.
