UMST University and Kacyiru Police Hospital have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a formal partnership to advance healthcare education, clinical training, and patient care standards.
Hospital Director Dr. Nyamwasa articulated the vision behind the partnership: "By merging academic excellence with practical clinical experience, we aim to equip future healthcare professionals with the skills and ethical grounding they need to serve patients at the highest level."
The partnership places particular emphasis on professional ethics, infection control, and patient safety — values central to both institutions. It will provide UMST students with expanded access to clinical training environments and strengthen the research collaboration between the two organisations.
