A dedicated UMST University outreach team visited New Vision High School to engage science students about higher education opportunities in medicine, dentistry, and biomedical sciences.
The team presented UMST's history, its range of scientific programmes, scholarship opportunities, and the unique experience of studying in Rwanda. Students were given an inside look at campus life, clinical training, and the career paths open to UMST graduates.
A similar outreach event was subsequently held at King David Academy, forming part of a broader regional initiative to connect talented secondary school students with UMST's world-class academic offering. Both sessions generated significant interest, with many students expressing enthusiasm about pursuing careers in the health sciences.
