A distinguished group of UMST alumni from the Gulf region, primarily based in the UAE, visited the Rwanda Campus between 1 April and 5 May 2025 for a memorable homecoming.
Alumnus Sami Salaheldin captured the mood of many visitors: "The equipment here is far more advanced than what we had during our time. We are so proud of what UMST has become." Alumni toured new facilities, met with current students and faculty, and reconnected with the institution that shaped their careers.
During the visit, alumni pledged to strengthen the UMST Alumni Association and proposed the creation of a Virtual Alumni Office to connect graduates across the globe. The initiative reflects the enduring bond between UMST and its international graduate community.
